Our maps are very similar. We used similar colors for states, we both shadowed the state names, and we used the same north arrow! You did a much better job labeling the rivers, though. I like how you used a black line with blue to symbolize the streams-made them show up well. Very nice.
Very nice map. States show up extremely well. Your roads would look a little less broken if you selected to display the 'other' roads in the Symbology tab. Mine looked the same way and then Pete suggested I symbolize the other roads with a light gray line.

ReplyDeleteNice map, good job with the labels. I can tell you spent time on placement. My only suggestions would be to add a title and a scalebar.
